Sugar policy a key element in farm bill negotiations

The executive vice president of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association is watching farm bill negotiations closely.

Speaking to Brownfield at the 2018 NAFB Convention in Kansas City, Luther Markwart says he’s pleased with sugar policy in both the House and Senate proposals and believes the new farm bill will be completed by the end of the year.
