Naples will get its first 1 Million Cups event Wednesday morning, Nov. 14.

Leaders from two local businesses will present to an audience of potential investors and customers and then answer questions about their businesses.

The event, dubbed 1MC Naples, begins at 9 a.m.on the second Wednesday of every month at the Naples Accelerator, 3510 Kraft Road, Suite 200.

In a news release, director of the Collier County Office of Business and Economic Development Jace Kentner said the event is a great way to connect the community with entrepreneurs and startups.

“Collier County is known as a community of retired CEOs, executives, serial entrepreneurs and venture investors and we hope young businesses can learn from their years of expertise,” Kentner said in the release.

1MC Naples will feature two global startups Wednesday: Logiscool, a game-style computer coding school that currently exists in 11 countries, and Marvee, a company that builds voice-first experiences for Alexa and Google catered toward older adults.
