November Color Combo with Heather H. (Challenge)

Good morning! Heather here stopping by this morning to share a new Color Combo Challenge with you!

Here is my color inspiration for this month - I was trying to pick something that would translate well from fall and Thanksgiving cards into holiday and winter cards. As I was browsing, I fell instantly in love with this image! So I knew it was what I needed to use:

As I was looking at the colors, it occurred to me that some of the beautiful Catherine Pooler inks in the Winnie and Walter store would coordinate perfectly! I grabbed out the ones that seemed to fit (Aquatini, Tiara, Orange Twist, and Flirty Fuchsia), and swiped them on a piece of cardstock so I could see them and decide what to do with them...and it hit me that I really liked the way that looked! Gotta love a happy accident, right? So I pulled out a plain white cardbase, and did it again, just a bit more carefully! :)

Next, I added a sentiment and some simple black images from In Bloom: Victoria's Very Merry Flowers - I love the look of black splatters from one of the flower center images! And the sentiment just seemed a perfect fit with the bright happy colors on this card!

Now - I have a few favorites from the last Color Challenge to feature! Due to World Card Making Day Challenges, we decided to extend the deadline of this challenge an extra month! SOOO many beautiful versions of the color combo - I can't say again how much I loved looking through them all...and how HARD you always make my job of choosing cards to spotlight! So without further ado, here they are!

First up - Maria F. shared this soft and lovely card! I adore the design, PERFECT use of the challenge colors - and all that lovely white space! Truly beautiful in every way!

Next up, I just love the cheery happy design of this card by Anita! The layout is so fun - the sentiment with the big happy just fits the feel of this card so well! LOVE!

And finally, I love the sweet little puppy on this card by Super Stick Chick - backed with the lovely stenciled leaves! Such a darling little scene and great use of the colors in a bolder form!
