Jeff Koons, world-renown artist and York County native, found guilty of copying, again

Jeff Koons will have to pay $170,000 after he was found guilty of copying a French clothing brand ad and using it as a muse for a statue he created, The New York Times reports

Jeff Koons, a York County native, is surrounded by media after speaking during the media preview of "Jeff Koons: A Retrospective" at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City in 2014.

“Fait d’hiver” is the name of the 1985 ad that shows a woman lying in the snow being nuzzled by a pig. The York County native's 1988 statue has the exact same name and depicts both the woman and the pig.
