Hop streetcar adjusts route and service for Saturday's Veterans Day parade

The Hop streetcar is changing its route Saturday for a few hours to accommodate Milwaukee's Veterans Day parade.

From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the northern portion of The Hop route will be suspended to make way for the parade.

Streetcars will be in service throughout Saturday but will travel in a condensed loop during the parade from the Intermodal Station east to Milwaukee Street, north to Kilbourn Avenue, west to Broadway Street and south to St. Paul Avenue.

Construction forces Veterans Day parade route change

Folks can use The Hop to get to the parade if they're traveling from the southern part of the route. The closest Hop stops to the parade route are City Hall stations on Milwaukee Street and Broadway Street just north of Wells Street.
