A suspect in the Middle East has been using social media to lure underage victims in the New Oxford area into sending explicit messages, according to a press release from the Adams County District Attorney's Office.

Investigators with the DA's Internet Crimes Against Children unit found that the suspect is located in Ankara, Turkey, and no physical danger is believed to exist.

The suspect first contacted a victim on LiveMe.com. The suspect then used photos and videos from that victim to set up fake accounts on other social media platforms, posing as the victim.

Those fake accounts were used to coerce underage females into sending explicit texts, photos and videos, according to the press release.
