 Comments for The Way Forward I got a great laugh out of the comic. That’s me hanging on that wall, but I don’t even need commenters…my own head can do it to myself.
But, then, leaving the comic at the top of the page and going on to read your blog piece…I could barely stand reading Gary’s vitriol and personal attack and dehumanizing and projection and (what comes across as) rage.
I don’t know Gary and I’ve read only his words here in this blog piece…and I do my best when reading online to be objective and recognize there is more to a person’s life than what they put on the internet….but sadly, Gary’s vitriol reminds me of certain others I’ve had the misfortune to engage.
This beginning line got my attention and red flags from the get go: “Throw a rock into a pack of fighting dogs, and the one that yelps is the one that got hit. ” It was telling and indicated to me a possible dishonest approach; instead of being forthright, the person seems to play a game. Then reading the exchange….well…the red flags seemed to have played out. The dialog left me shaky and my stomach in a knot. Gosh…so sorry you had to endure this. It’s just so …. vain and pointless and life sucking. 
I echo other commenters here…and I’ll take sensitive any day over cruelty.
I’m proud to have you as an online friend and sojourner. As always, keep writing until you decide otherwise. .
