Free Family Day at Frost Art Museum in Miami

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum invites you to a special Family Day on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., participate in hands-on activities designed to engage you and the kids with the museum's collections and exhibitions. Click here to RSVP.

 

Admission is always free to this museum, which is situated in the Modesto A. Maidique campus of Florida International University, at 10975 SW 17th St. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays.

Experience a day of hands-on art activities bringing the museum's exhibitions to life. These activities foster a love of art and learning in children and create positive experiences for the entire family.

This time, To Recognize a Pattern featured artist Ashnide Jean-Baptiste will lead a workshop to create upcycled head-dresses. Additionally, story time sessions will take place with Dr. Katie Hart, FIU Associate Professor of Psychology and director of The Children's Trust Parent Club in collaboration with FlU Center for Children and Families Center for Children and Families (CCF). This event is free and open to the public.
