Citrix is doing something special here in Dublin — and I want to tell you a bit more about the journey that we are on. Last year, we announced our intention to create 150 new jobs in Dublin, housed in a newly expanded, renovated facility.

Today, our new Dublin hub was officially opened by Minister for Communication, Climate Action and Environment Richard Bruton TD, alongside IDA Ireland CEO Martin Shananan. We’ve invested €6.7m to develop what now stands proud as a completed 49,500 sf space — including 26,000 square feet that’s brand-new. In addition, we’re hiring for a further 30 jobs, over and above the 150 announced previously.

The hub is at East Point Business Park in the north of the city. It has been specifically designed to bring together different EMEA teams – such as the digital sales, finance, HR, technical support and consulting services teams. As you’d expect, it includes a cutting-edge infrastructure, some incredible digital tooling for collaboration plus world-class data analytics and more.

We have recruited for a variety of roles and specialisms already. We have network engineers, technical support, HR shared services and finance under one roof, plus — front of house, as it were, as this is our EMEA digital sales hub — some very talented sales teams.

It’s nearly two decades since Citrix first came to Ireland, so we’ve got strong roots both in Dublin and across the country. Citrix also has close links with Irish universities and institutes of technology and it’s firmly on our agenda is to develop these kinds of partnerships that support our growth — particularly for the technical roles we recruit. Next to this, we also want to ensure we’ve created the context to support young people across Ireland in forging world-class digital and sales skills.

We will be nurturing this sales expertise in part through our Sales Academy. The academy has been set up with a purpose: to inspire and nurture junior sales talent, preparing them for more senior roles in the future, while also feeding into the bigger picture as we continue to foster partnerships and develop external and internal skills routes.

I’m excited to see the new office forge its own path and start to create its own piece of Citrix history in the years ahead. The hub has the potential to support no less than 400 employees — so for details of how to apply for positions now and in the future, please visit www.citrix.com/careers.
