Victim dropped off at York Hospital with gunshot wound to ankle, police said

One gun shot victim with a wound to the ankle was dropped off at York Hospital on Tuesday evening, according to a news release from York City Police Department.

The York City Police Department earlier, at 6:24 p.m., responded to reports of shots fired near S. Pine St. and Liberty Ct., the release said.

The victim, Jose Herrera, 27, was dropped at the hospital via private vehicle and remains in stable condition, the release said.
