Police seek Dollar General robbery suspect

Shreveport Police robbery detectives are asking the public’s help to identify a man believed responsible for the robbery of a local business late last week.

On Oct. 18, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the Dollar General department store in the 8900 block of Walker Road on reports of an armed robbery. Arriving officers learned that a man entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk surrendered an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. 

Investigators were able to secure store video footage and provided photos extracted from the video.
