It's not yet known what all will be going in, but what is known is that Old Navy, which currently leases one of the slots in the shopping center, will be moving next door into one of the new buildings.

Karen Martin, of Pomegranate Real Estate, said two sections are yet to be leased.

Manchester Township zoning and planning officer Stewart Oliver said this development will be removing 12,700-square-feet of the old center and making room for the new section. He said the development plan was approved in 2016.

As activity at the new UPMC Memorial Hospital site unfolds, the project is still said to be on schedule.

The hospital has updates available on its website, highlighting some of the building process. The latest update is from July, where the installation of window frames, door frames, mechanical, electrical and plumbing duct work began.

The hospital, relocating from Spring Garden Township, is expected to be completed in August 2019.

Once open, the five-story hospital will offer 130 beds, private rooms, a critical care unit with 14 beds and a level-two care nursery. It will also be designed for easier expansion in the future.
