Caddo school closing early due to water problems

Herndon Magnet, which serves students in grades K-8, will close at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday as the community’s water system works to restore water service to the school and surrounding area.

BelDiGil water system is making some adjustments to the water system and plans to have it restored shortly. Parents and guardians will be able to pick up their children at the campus beginning at 12:30 p.m. and buses will run at that time.  

Mary Wood, spokesperson for Caddo Parish Schools, says Herndon should be ready to reopen Wednesday and operate on its normal schedule.
