Milwaukee police investigate death of infant on N. 50th St. early Monday

Milwaukee police are investigating the death of an infant in the 4600 block of N. 50th St.

Police were called at 4:14 a.m. Monday and the two-week old male was found unresponsive and life-saving measures were attempted but those efforts were unsuccessful and the child died on scene," a police department news release said.

"Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident is ongoing," the release said.

No further details were provided.
