Mule deer buck displays blood red antlers after shedding his velvet

Mule deer bucks and elk bulls around Ruidoso are on the prowl for mates this time of the year

After a rough start, Dick the deer is doing great as he visits photographer David Tremblay. He has a nontypical antler, but he presents a handsome model just after shedding the velvet covering the antlers and before the blood had dried completely.
