Nebraska has a new assistant director of agriculture

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) has a new assistant director.

She is Amelia Breinig, a native Nebraskan who grew up on a family’s farm near Arapahoe. Most recently, Breinig worked at the Office of the United States Trade Representative in Washington, D.C. She has also worked for Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer, former Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry, and the U.S. Senate Finance Committee.

Breinig replaces Mat Habrock, who left NDA for a job in agribusiness.
