Tuesday marked the annual White Cane Safety Day which began with the White Cane Walk from the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Indian Wells to the Rehovec Theatre on the New Mexico State University-Alamogordo campus.

Speakers at the at White Cane Safety Day festivities Tuesday included representatives from the NMSBVI, National Federation of the Blind-White Sands Chapter and the City of Alamogordo.
