Woman killed in crash with semi in Town of Dover in Racine County

A woman was killed in a crash involving a semitrailer truck in the Town of Dover on Tuesday, the Racine County Sheriff's Office reported.

The crash between the semi and an SUV occurred about 1:15 p.m. near Washington Avenue and Sharp Road, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation, the Sheriff's Office said.

No names are being released pending notification of family members.
