31% of Ohio corn; 43% of soybeans harvested

Farmers were able to make harvest progress in Ohio this week despite cooler temperatures.

According to the latest USDA Crop and Weather report, 92 percent of the corn crop is mature, and 95 percent of soybeans are dropping leaves.

Thirty one percent of the corn crop has been harvested and soybean harvest is 43 percent complete.

Winter wheat planting is 51 percent complete, with 28 percent emerged.
