Michigan State Spartans wide receiver Felton Davis III (18) reacts after catching the winning touchdown pass against the Penn State Nittany Lions during the fourth quarter at Beaver Stadium.

In the words of Keith Jackson, "Holy Mackeral."

Michigan State looked out of its depth for much of the game vs. No. 8 Penn State on Saturday, despite the Spartans keeping the score close.

On a fourth-and-10 play with 1:46 to go and three timeouts remaining, Mark Dantonio decided to put the trust in his defense.

And it worked.

The Spartans got the three-and-out, saved a timeout in the process, and Brian Lewerke - who nearly threw an interception early in the drive - hit Felton Davis III down the left sideline for the game-winning 25-yard TD with 19 seconds left in the game.

Let's see how Michigan State fans reacted.
