Pennsylvania State Police wrote in court documents filed in Magisterial District Judge Todd Williams' office in Scotland that troopers were dispatched at about 12:50 a.m. Thursday to a residence in the 4000 block of Dairy Road, Guilford Township, to conduct a welfare check on a man who had shown up at the home.

On the way there, police found a silver Nissan Murano with severe front-end damage parked in the middle of the intersection of Dairy and Haulman roads.

Police encountered the driver of that vehicle at the residence. The man, identified as Allison, admitted to driving drunk and crashing the SUV police found, according to court documents.

Later, while in custody Allison kicked a trooper and continuously threatened him, saying he was going to "f*** him up" and "kill him," according to court documents.
