Chambersburg area

Sept. 24: A Chambersburg woman, 18, was taken to Waynesboro Hospital with suspected minor injuries after the vehicle she was driving hit a traffic sign, overturned and hit the anchor lines on a utility pole at 7:49 a.m. on Lincoln Way East, Greene Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Sept. 28: A Chambersburg man is accused of grabbing a woman by her hair and pushing her into a set of steps at a property on Black Gap Road, Greene Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 2: One person may have been injured as a result of a chain-reaction crash involving three vehicles at 2:46 p.m. on Wayne Road at its intersection with Grindstone Hill Road, Guilford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Oct. 2: An Elizabethtown woman sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of a three-vehicle crash at 3:11 p.m. on West Main Street at Mount Pleasant Road, Greene Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 7: Three women with two children entered Victoria's Secret at Chambersburg Mall between 2:30 and 3 p.m. and stole about $542.10 worth of Pink merchandise, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 8: Amin Butler, 37, Chambersburg, was cited for harassment at 7:40 a.m. following an incident involving a woman and a teen on Field Circle, Guilford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 9-10: Between 3 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., someone spray-painted a metal door and a concrete wall then set fire to a portable toilet at 800 Lincoln Way West, Hamilton Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 11: A Chambersburg man, 34, sustained minor injuries in a crash at 4:43 p.m. in which the vehicle he was driving began to hydroplane then hit a utility pole on Mickey Inn Road, Greene Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 11: Someone spray-painted a garage door on Falling Spring Road between 6 and 7 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Greencastle area

Oct. 3-4: Between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., about $5 in change was stolen from among three vehicles on Hollowell Church Road, Antirm Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 9: A Hagerstown, Md., man was arrested for drug possession at 3:50 p.m. at 735 Buchanan Trail East, Antrim Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Mercersburg area

Oct. 8: A Brooklyn, N.Y., man who was driving while under the influence of alcohol at 2:25 a.m. failed to negotiate a curve on South Main Street and struck a building near the intersection with Linden Avenue, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The man was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.

Shippensburg area

Oct. 2: A truck tractor doing a U-turn damaged a lawn in the 12000 block of Cumberland Highway, Lurgan Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 3: Jereme Leedy, 34, Spring Run, lost control of a vehicle at 6:05 am. on Forge Hill Road, Lurgan Township, and traveled off the road and hit a rock, according to Pennsylvania State Police. He was charged with DUI. 

Oct. 3: Angela Miller, 43, Shippensburg, was charged for allegedly hitting another woman in the face, causing an injury, at 3:13 a.m. on Mountain Road, Letterkenny Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 7: There were no injuries after a van and a car collided at 4:07 p.m. on Orrstown Road at Mapleton Road, Southampton Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 9: Someone crashed a vehicle into a concrete light pole, flattening it to the ground, at about 8 p.m. in the parking lot of Lurgan United Brethren Church, Roxbury Road, Lurgan Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Waynesboro area

Sept. 5: There were no injuries after a 16-year-old male driver swerved into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle almost head-on at 7:55 a.m. on Wayne Highway, Quincy Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Oct. 8: Two people attempted to steal about $20 worth of aluminium cans from Crackers Bar, 5857 Orphanage Road, Quincy Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
