Oil, environmental groups not pleased with E15 announcement
President Trump has directed the EPA to expand sales of E15, but some environmental groups and the oil industry plan to fight it.
The CEO of the National Wildlife Federation says it’s illegal for E15 to be sold year-round under the Clean Air Act.
Representatives from the oil industry say it’s not the win-win that the president has promised.
The EPA will develop a proposed rule that will be available for public comment. The oil industry will likely have to wait until then to file an injunction.
