Lane closures scheduled for 10th Street through January

ALAMOGORDO – Starting this week and going through mid-January 2019, sections of the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes on 10th Street from N. Scenic Drive to Paiute Trail will be closed to through traffic due to construction activity.

The closures will progress down 10th Street in accordance with construction activities. Approximately one to three blocks will be affected at a time.

All traffic will be detoured via Abbott Avenue. Businesses and residents in the project area will have access to their property during the road construction. Alternate routes through the area should be sought if possible.

Residents on 10th Street living within the construction work zone will be notified by the contractor on a daily basis so that they can make any necessary accommodations.
