Protect Alaska’s Tongass National Forest




America’s largest Wild Forest and the Biggest remaining Temperate Rainforest in the World, is once again at Risk.

Over the summer, the Trump Administration, with its sights set on Logging and Mining, announced Plans to Build New Roads through Alaska’s Tongass National Forest, threatening the Old-Growth Habitat and the Wildlife it Sustains.

NRDC has been Fighting a Decades-Long Battle to Defend the Tongass and other Roadless Federal Forestlands from being Ripped Open by Corporate Interests and Industrialization, and we will continue to Fight this New Proposal.
