On Saturday, October 6, 2018, nearly 1,800 people gathered at the Big Bus Health Fair on the grounds of the Department of Health - Collier Immokalee campus. The fair brought the Immokalee community together for fun and information.

The Collier Mosquito Control set up petri dishes with mosquito larvae in their various stages of growth. Through the live demonstration, the Collier Mosquito Control wanted to raise awareness to the community about how fast mosquitos can mature in stagnant water.
