Chambersburg area

Sept. 12: Christopher Douglas was charged with retail theft after he attempted to conceal $17.28 worth of merchandise and leave Sheetz, Monticello Court, without paying, Chambersburg Police said.

Sept. 15-16: Counterfeit $100 bills were passed at Giant, Wayne Avenue, Chambersburg Police said.

Sept. 26: Kimberly Miller, 42, was charged with retail theft after police determined she had stolen about five packages of meat from Giant, Norland Avenue, on July 8, Chambersburg Police said.

Oct. 1: A dirt bock was stolen between 12:30 and 2:50 p.m. from a property in the 200 block of South Sixth Street, Chambersburg Police said. The dirt bike was described as a 2005 Yamaha 125cc with blue and white fairings. 

Sept. 27: Amber Powell, 29, was cited with public drunkenness after police responding to a report that an intoxicated woman had fled Chambersburg Hospital located her in the 200 block of East Queen Street as she was loudly shouting outside of an apartment building, Chambersburg Police said. 

Cumberland County

Sept. 27: A Carlisle woman was uninjured after the Toyota Scion she was driving rolled onto its roof after she lost control at 9:05 p.m. on Whiskey Springs Road, South Middleton Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Oct. 3: Two Carlisle people were uninjured following a two-vehicle crash at 8:57 a.m. on Ritner Highway, West Pennsboro Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Fulton County

Sept. 28: A 12-year-old from Big Cove Tannery touched and poked a McConnellsburg 13-year-old's buttocks after being told not to, at 12:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Cherry Street, Ayr Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Police did not list the children's genders. 

Sept. 28: A woman lost prescription pills after entering a grocery store at 1:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Buchanan Trail, McConnellsburg.
