East Lansing police seek man 'working through some anger issues' after parking gate broken

EAST LANSING — East Lansing police would like to find a man who kicked and broke a parking garage gate last week. 

Surveillance footage shared by the East Lansing Police Department shows two men walking into the Grove Street parking ramp and destroying the gate at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 20. 

"We've caught on tape an individual who is working through some anger issues – and caused damage to city property in the process. (GASP!) If you know who he is, or who his friend is, PLEASE LET US KNOW," East Lansing police wrorte on Facebook. "We have some detectives that would like to provide a safe place for him to discuss his feelings. Suspect may have bumps and bruises – because running is hard.

East Lansing police posted the video on Twitter with the note: "Watch till the end, you won't be disappointed."
