Fans select GameTimePA's first YAIAA Game of the Week for 2018

It's that time of the year again.
Football season is upon us, this time one week earlier than usual. And with football season comes GameTimePA's YAIAA Game of the Week poll.
We have five football games taking place Friday night, Aug. 24 to choose from. Four of them feature two teams from the YAIAA, while fifth is a rematch of a District 3 Class 6A playoff game from last season. All of the games start at 7 p.m.
Once we have a winner, the GameTimePA reporting duo of Matt Allibone and Jim Seip will attend the visiting team's practice on Thursday for a live interview with the head coach and our 100-yard march with a player.
On Friday, GameTimePA photographer Ty Lohr will film a Facebook Live to capture the atmosphere inside the stadium. Photos, video highlights and more will be posted on ydr.com/gametimepa and eveningsun.com/gametimepa later that night.
Voting begins Saturday at 6 a.m. and concludes Tuesday at 12 p.m.
