A Maryland man repeatedly rammed a police cruiser and got away — at least temporarily — during a heroin bust in York on Aug. 1, according to charging documents.

Two days later, Isaiah Rayvon Mott, 28, of the 1800 block of Hawk Court in Severn, was arraigned on a host of charges.

He posted a portion of his $25,000 bail the same day and is expected to appear for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Joel N. Toluba on Sept. 7, according to online court dockets.

Mott could not be reached for comment on Thursday.

About 12:50 p.m. on Aug. 1, undercover police officers watched as Mott tried to deliver heroin to an undercover police officer at or near a gas station in the 1000 block of West Market Street in York, documents state.

Police then converged on Mott, who was inside a Toyota Camry.

Police pursued Mott and found heroin that he ditched during the chase. Documents do not say how police were able to eventually arrest Mott.

He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver drugs, attempted drug delivery, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property and criminal mischief.
