Wow! If you know a happier looking lipstick collection, I’d like to know about it! Aren’t these new autumn collection lippies from Guerlain gorgeous?
I find it a bit strange that these are autumn when they’re full of summery joy – they’re available now though and we still have a way to go (hopefully) so if you need something to put you in the holiday mood, I’d say you can’t really go wrong. Everything about the finish, the vibrancy and the product texture puts the collection in the ‘every woman’ category – it’s spanning all ages and all tones… what’s not to like!
The actual pigment isn’t extreme – they’re quite sheer but with enough colour that they don’t fall into veil or tint territory. I love the scent of Guerlain lipsticks – it reminds me of my very first lipsticks being a sort of sweet, waxy floral; they just smell like exotic, expensive lipsticks from days gone by with none of the vanilla that brands love to put in anything lip. The shades from left to right are: 371 Darling Baby, 343 Sugar Kiss, 344 Sexy Coral, 325 Rouge Kiss, 361 Excessive Rose.
