A man died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle.

LANSING - A 20-year-old Olivet woman was arrested Friday after family members raised concerns about injuries suffered by her infant son.

Concerned family members brought Taylor Prahl-Six's two-month-old son to Sparrow Hospital on July 3. Tests showed the child had multiple brain bleeds as well as a possible skull fracture.

Sparrow staff believe the boy's injuries stemmed from two separate assaults, according to a post on the Eaton County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page.

Detectives subsequently gathered evidence and information leading to a felony warrant for first-degree child abuse for Prahl-Six. She was arrested and taken to the Eaton County Jail shortly after the warrant was issued on Friday.

Bond for Prahl-Six was set at $100,000 cash or surety. Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 3.
