July 4th fireworks displays & events in Miami

When the Fourth of July rolls around this year, what are you especially excited about — the fireworks displays or the holiday picnics?

Look to us as your guide to what’s going on around Miami-Dade on July 4, 2023 and keep checking back because we'll add more events as we find them! Here is our list of the best places to see Fourth of July fireworks in Miami.

Fire on the Fourth

Fireworks and drones will once again light up the skies over Miami Beach. With a dedicated family zone, food trucks, live entertainment and a rock climbing wall, this outdoor festival marks the nation’s 247th birthday with the return of the city’s annual Fire on the Fourth celebration in North Beach. From 3-9 p.m. on 73 St. and Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

Family Fun and Games:
3 – 7:30 PM

Rock Climbing, Mega Obstacle Course, and Giant Soccer Dart Game. Imagination Playground with Jenga, Connect 4 and Cornhole.

Stage Entertainment:
5-9 PM 

Music performances take the stage with DJs as well as The Miami Beats led by Jacin Paul and his nine-piece band. Paul is a guitarist for Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.


Roller Skating:
3-9 PM
In the Miami Beach Bandshell where you can bop to the beat of Bandshell DJ Allstars while showing off your best skate moves. Skate rentals available courtesy of Faena Arts.


Drone & Fireworks:
Start at 9 PM

City of Hialeah Celebrates Independence Day

This event has been the winner of multiple awards from the Florida Festivals & Events Association so you know it's gonna be great!  The entertainment lineup includes Lenier, Ricky Valido, and Marlon Fernandez. There will also be special performances by DJ YUS and DJ A10. Of course a 30-minute fireworks and laser display plus, food trucks selling all types of delicious food. 4-10 p.m. at Milander Park, 4800 Palm Ave., Hialeah.

Beach Skate Roller Disco

The Miami Beach Bandshell is transformed into a roller disco, featuring all the popular skate tunes via the Bandshell Allstars on deck. The rink is hosted by Roller Skate Vibes crew and welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities. Bring your own skates or blades for your twirl time or use a courtesy pair (thanks to Faena Arts). Non-skaters are welcomed to enjoy the music and fun from the rear deck. All skaters must sign a release prior to entrance. Presented by Rhythm Foundation and City of Miami Beach. RSVP's are sold out but public will be admitted after RSVP'd guests. 3 p.m., Miami Beach Bandshell, 73 St. and Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

Independence Day Celebration by the Bay

Enjoy live music, family fun activities, food vendors and a fireworks display to end the night. Pets, personal fireworks, weapons, large bags, coolers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. The event will take place rain or shine. Gates open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m., FIU Biscayne Bay Campus, 3000 NE 151 St., North Miami. Click here for details.

City of South Miami's Fourth of July Celebration

An evening of live entertainment, food trucks, kids' activities fireworks show at the City of South Miami's Fourth of July Celebration at Palmer Park.  Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair.  No alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed. North Bay Village's Fourth of July Party

The fun includes live music, face painting, arts & crafts, a dessert truck, a bounce house and barbecue fare for sale. 6-8 p.m. at Dr. Paul Vogel Community Park, 7920 West Dr., North Bay Village. Click here for info and to RSVP.

Ocean Drive 4th Fireworks and Concert

The Ocean Drive Association will host a free patriotic concert with a full orchestra of The Miami Beach Classical Music Festival (MBCMF), followed by fireworks. The event is hosted by the Ocean Drive Association. Lummus Park, Ocean Dr. and 12 St., Miami Beach. Click here for info.
 

Race to the 4th: Homestead Independence Day Celebration

The event will kick off with live music performances and food lovers can enjoy an array of food trucks and vendors, from savory bites to sweet treats and refreshing beverages. Families and children will enjoy rides and attractions. After the sun sets a fireworks display will light up the sky. There will be security checkpoints and all bags will be subject to search. 6-10 p.m., Homestead-Miami Speedway, 1 Ralph Sanchez Speedway, Homestead. 

Miami Symphony Orchestra at Peacock Park

The City of Miami and Coconut Grove Business Improvement District present a performance by Miami's Orchestra led by Maestro Eduardo Maturet. 7:30 p.m., 2820 McFarlane Rd., Coconut Grove. RSVP here.

July 4th Food Trucks and Fireworks Celebration

DJ, food trucks, bounce houses and fun activities for the entire family capped off with a fireworks display. 5-9:30 p.m., Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199 St., Miami Gardens. 20th Annual Celebration at Miami Lakes

Enjoy fun with friends, family, and the community, live entertainment, food and drinks, and a first ever Sensory Inclusive Zone, presented by the Special Needs Advisory Board. 6:30 p.m. Veterans Park, 15151 NW 82nd Ave, Miami Lakes 33016. Information is online.

Star-Spangled Awesome: Independence Day at The Wharf Miami

The party lasts all day, starting at noon and going until 1 a.m. Festivities including a fireworks show after sunset plus drink specials all day. Buy any shot of American Whiskey and get a FREE Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer (ALL DAY)

Fireworks at the Biltmore Hotel

Gables Fourth festivities & fireworks extravaganza is at Biltmore Hotel Golf Course, 1200 Anastasia Ave. Venue opens at 5 p.m., with concert at 7 p.m. & fireworks at 9 p.m. Entry is free. Information is online.

Fourth of July at Tropical Park

Activities will include a DJ, live musical performances, demonstrations by Parks partners, and a Kids' Fun Zone with interactive activities and other fun lawn games. There will also be food truck vendors selling hamburgers, hot dogs, and other Independence Day favorites. 4-10 p.m. at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 St., Miami. Info online here.

Miami Marlins Game and Fireworks Show

Watch the Marlins host the St. Louis Cardinals during an evening game themed Salute and Serve Day with two free game tickets for active and retired military, veterans, fire rescue and police department personnel and health care professionals Kids tickets are $1 and there will be a fireworks display after the game. Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade

The Fourth of July celebration is one of the highlights of summer on Key Biscayne. The day-long schedule of events begins with the traditional parade along Crandon Blvd, from Harbor Dr. to West Wood Dr. There will food for sale at a a post-parade barbecue in the Village Green hosted by The Rotary Club. 11 a.m. along Crandon Blvd. Click here for info.
