LANSING — More than 2,500 Lansing Board of Water and Light customers on the city's southwest side were without power Saturday, according to the utility's outage map.

As of 7 p.m. Saturday, 2,563 outages were impacting customers near Mt Hope Avenue, primarily between Waverly Road and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

BWL's outage map showed an initial estimated restoration time of 1 a.m. Sunday. The utility announced on its Facebook page Saturday evening around 10 p.m. that power had been restored to all customers. A cable fault caused the outage, according to the post.
