Warrant issued for suspect in Tuesday homicide in York

A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Robert Johnson II.

UPDATE:  Robert Johnson II has been arrested, police said

An arrest warrant — along with a cash reward — have been issued for a man York City Police say shot another man to death on Tuesday evening in the city, according to a news release.

About 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the area of North Penn and Smyser streets for a shooting. Once there, officers found victim L.A. Rasul Truvillion, 23, of York. Truvillion was taken to York Hospital where he died from his injuries, the news release states.

Detectives identified the shooter as Robert Johnson II, 24, of York and charged him with criminal homicide. Johnson's name was released to the public just before 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Police's investigation also revealed Truvillion was targeted.

An autopsy on Truvillion's body is scheduled for Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, according to a news release from the York County Coroner's Office.

This is the second homicide in York two days.

Philip Trent Banks Jr., 20, of the 700 block of East King Street died Monday in a shooting on North Franklin Street in York.
