F&M Trust announces hires

CHAMBERSBURG - F&M Trust has announced two new hires. 

Natasha Koons returns to F&M Trust as a business banker in southern Franklin County. She will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing client relationships and will be based in the F&M Trust Community Office at 200 E. Main St., Waynesboro.

Koons was previously employed with F&M from 2008 to 2015 as the community office manager in the Waynesboro branch. She was most recently employed as the Chambersburg market manager for First Community Bank of Mercersburg. She is an honor graduate of the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association’s School of Banking and holds a bachelor of science in business administration and psychology from the University of Maryland, University College. 

Ray Wills will work as a security officer. He will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of the bank’s security program and will be based in the F&M Trust Corporate Headquarters in downtown Chambersburg.

Wills has more than 21 years of experience in law enforcement and security. He most recently served as the Regional Security Director for Dunbar Armored, Inc. He is a graduate of Allegany College of Cumberland, Md., where he obtained an associate’s degree in communications. Wills is active in the community as a member of the Maugansville (Md.) Ruritan Club.

Boyer & Ritter makes new hire

CAMP HILL - Boyer & Ritter LLC, one of the region’s largest accounting firms, has announced the hiring of Mark W. Banks, CPA, to serve its growing client base throughout central Pennsylvania.

Banks previously worked as a staff auditor for a national accounting firm, where he assisted clients in the manufacturing and retail industries. He will join Boyer & Ritter’s employee benefits plan audit group as well as the manufacturing and retail industry groups.

He earned a bachelor of science in business and accounting from Pennsylvania State University in 2014 and master of accountancy in 2015 from the university’s Smeal College of Business.

Banks is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
