Liberty ousts Central Michigan in CIT Tournament

Liberty eliminated Central Michigan with an 84-71 victory in a quarterfinal of the Collegeinsider.com Tournament Saturday afternoon at Lynchburg, Virginia.

Ryan Kemrite scored 21 and Scottie James 20 for Liberty (22-14), which took over in the second half after the score was tied at 39 at halftime.

David DiLeo and Josh Kozinski each scored 19 for Central Michigan, which finished its season 21-15.
