Parents, three-year-old daughter killed in Carroll Twp. crash

The three people killed in a Carroll Township crash on Friday afternoon have been identified. 

Brandon Rayhart, 32, Jennifer Edler, 26 and their daughter Destiny Rayhart, 3 -- of Carlisle, were killed following a two vehicle crash in the 200 block of York Road around 12:45 p.m. Friday, the York County Coroner's office said.

The three victims and another boy were driving in a Ford Mustang when the vehicle reportedly crossed the center line and struck a Ford Escape, the York County Coroner's Office said. 

Destiny Rayhart, Jennifer Edler and Brandon Rayhart, the driver, were pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner's office said. A boy from the Mustang and the driver of the Ford Escape were transported to an area hospital. 

The child will be released to a family member on Saturday, according to police. 

Neither Edler or Brandon Rayhart were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Both children were in car seats, officials said. 

The coroner has ruled the cause of death for all the victims as multiple blunt force trauma, manner of death accidental. 

The Carroll Township Police Department is investigating the crash.
