MERIDIAN TWP. - Nobody was injured when a vehicle crashed into a convenience store on Wednesday night.

Meridian Township police were investigating a vehicle-building crash on Wednesday night.

One employee was inside the 7-Eleven store at Okemos and Jolly roads when the crash happened about 7:25 p.m., police said.

A female driver was pulling into a parking space when she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, causing the vehicle to crash through a glass door, Meridian Township police Sgt. Rick Grillo said.
