Two seriously injured in crash on NB U.S. 127 in Lansing

LANSING - Two people were seriously injured in a crash involving a semitruck Monday afternoon on U.S. 127 in Lansing.

The crash happened about 2:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes at Forest Road and prompted police to close the northbound side of the freeway at Dunckel Road for hours. The freeway has been reopened.

The crash involved two passenger vehicles and a semi truck, Lansing police said. Two people were taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, they said.
