Michigan State's play had been dicey ever since it restarted Big Ten play in January.

Yes, the Spartans had a 30-4 record and won the Big Ten outright, but rarely did they look good winning games.

As Sunday afternoon showed, the "eye test" in regards to Michigan State's struggles in wins over inferior Big Ten opponents proved to be 20/20 vision as the No. 3 seed Spartans were upset by No. 11 Syracuse, 55-53, in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Who's at fault? Tom Izzo? Miles Bridges? Jaren Jackson, Jr.? Playing too close to home?

Michigan State fans on social media had PLENTY to say after the Spartans were bounced from the tournament, much earlier than expected.
