Maple Syrup Camp, Bunny Train and more to do around Wisconsin this week

Beloit: Mushing for Meals. A sled dog mushing team will lead this 5K/10K run/walk March 24 at Horace White Park. Registration is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 17 and under. A chili feed will follow the race. See beloitmealsonwheels.org

Brillion: Maple Syrup Camp. See maple trees being tapped, sap being collected and learn how sap is boiled into syrup at Brillion Nature Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24. The event is free. See brillionnaturecenter.net.

The East Troy Electric Railroad offers train rides with the Easter Bunny in March.

East Troy: Bunny Train. Ride the East Troy Electric Railroad with the Easter Bunny March 24-25 and 31. Kids can also enjoy face painting and coloring at the depot before leaving and live bunnies and chicks at the Elegant Farmer. Luxemburg: Roar Off the Shore Brewfest. Sample from more than 200 beers, 100 wines and a handful of food vendors at this tasting event at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds from 2 to 6 p.m. March 24. Tickets are $40. See roarofftheshore.com.

Muskego: Spring Thaw Hike. Join DNR staff for a group hike at Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area from 9:30 to 11 a.m. March 24. See wiparks.net.
