The Notre Dame Club of Gettysburg is welcoming the coach of a national championship team to speak at the Wyndham Gettysburg on April 26.

Famed Notre Dame women’s basketball coach Muffet McGraw, who won the national title with the Fighting Irish on Sunday, will speak about the results of the current season and her rooted history as being the head coach for the past 30 years.

The event will begin with a dinner at 6:15 p.m., including an Italian buffet, dessert and coffee and tea.

As the head coach of the Fighting Irish since 1987, McGraw has led Notre Dame to six NCAA Division I finals, winning the championship twice.

The latest came on Sunday in spectacular fashion with junior guard Arike Ogunbowale sealing victory for Notre Dame by hitting a last-second shot to down Mississippi State, 61-58.
