Police: Woman shot outside of club on Telegraph

A 26-year-old woman was shot in the forearm early Sunday morning outside Club Yesterday's on Telegraph on the border of Detroit and Redford Township, police said.

The shooting took place about 2:04 a.m. in the parking lot of the club, which is in the 14000 block of Telegraph, said Officer Dan Donakowski, a Detroit Police Department spokesman.

Police believe the victim was walking in the parking lot at a time when two groups of men were arguing. Shots were fired, at least one of which hit the victim.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she was listed in stable condition. 

No detailed suspect description is available. Police are investigating.
