The Detroit News

Vincent Gray’s had a change of heart, and now Michigan appears to have an in-state cornerback for its 2018 class.

The Rochester Adams standout announced Sunday on Twitter he plans to attend Michigan in the fall.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Gray appeared headed to Missouri, but held off during the December early signing period after getting a call from Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Gray is a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite, who also ranks No. 21 on The Detroit News Blue Chip list. He’s ranked No. 17 in the state, according to 247Sports, and No. 60 among cornerbacks in the country.

Gray is the 20th commitment in Michigan’s class, 16 of whom signed during the early signing period. He is one of four unsigned commitments, joining four-star linebacker Otis Reese, three-star quarterback Kevin Doyle, and three-star receiver Ronnie Bell.
