Free concerts in Coconut Creek

The City of Coconut Creek is putting on several free concerts this winter and spring as part of its Homegrown Concert series.

Bring your blankets, chairs and coolers and listen to favorite South Florida bands at these family-friendly concerts.  No pets are allowed.

Upcoming 2024 events:

7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday, April 5 Moonlight Thief and others, funk, rock, Latin, disco and others. The venue is the band shell, 1100 Lyons Road.

Friday, January 5, 2024, 7 to 9 p.m. Homegrown Concert Series featuring the band Bombshell, playing dance, pop, rock, '70s and current music. Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road,

Teresa Mears is a publisher, writer and editor who was raised to be frugal. She became a website entrepreneur after 30 years as an editor at newspapers ranging in size from the Portland (Tenn.) Leader to The Los Angeles Times and The Miami Herald, where she worked most recently.
