Surviving from Ann Carter's childhood, a series of dwarf toys from the 1930s modeled after characters in Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" movie appear to slide down the staircase of the foyer.

A Rhode Island red hen named Henrietta is decorated for Christmas in the fireplace of the Carter kitchen. Bill Carter's mother raised Rhode Island reds in Western Pennsylvania when he was growing up.

The dining room table is taken over for the holidays with a scene Ann Carter calls 'On Golden Pond'. Carter has fond childhood memories of her father setting up Lionel trains for Christmas. The chandelier came from a renovation of the Yorktowne Hotel in the 1970's.

The sunroom takes on the theme of a "Department Store Christmas." The sleigh, which was restored, came from the Horn Apple Orchard that was located off of East Prospect Road in an area that is now Haines Acres, according to Ann Carter.

The doe in the 'Department Store Christmas Display" was once a buck, but Ann Carter feared his huge pointy rack might be a hazard at holiday parties.

Ann Carter said that for every Santa there is a nativity scene. The Codorus Creek is visible in the background.
