Man who posed as Eastern student sentenced

A man who entered a York County high school by passing as a student, assaulted a female student and then fled from police was sentenced Monday to just under two years in prison and consecutive terms of probation.

Timothy Justin Hannah, 25, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to multiple criminal charges, including flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, simple assault, criminal trespass, and false imprisonment stemming from three different incidents.

On June 1, 2016, in York, Hannah assaulted his girlfriend, hitting her with an extension cord while reading her diary and prevented her from leaving.

On Sept. 26, 2016, Hannah entered Eastern York High School posing as a student and assaulted a female student in a restroom.

Hannah was taken into custody in North Carolina in December 2016 after fleeing York.

On Monday in York County Court, he was sentenced to 11 1/2 to 23 months in county prison and seven years probation. He also was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
