Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser

If you like a wash off cleanser, as opposed to a balm or lotion cleanse, and you have dry skin, you’re rather stuck for products that won’t exacerbate the situation. The very act of wet then dry isn’t great for skin that is already struggling to hold on to its moisture. However, I’ve taken the Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser through its paces (please bear in mind I don’t have very dry skin) and it’s one of the few that doesn’t make skin feel stripped.

Actually, the formula is soap free and uses glycerin as the cleaning agent along with cucumber which is notoriously soothing. It does have a very fresh, cucumbery scent mixed with notes of rosemary and lemon so the whole effect is very fresh and very clean smelling – like just washed laundry. It’s easily a unisex product and while you can’t think of it as a make up remover, it did leave my skin feeling super clean without any residual tightness. However, if you are struggling with dryness, think about switching to a balm instead for the winter months. Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser is £19.50 HERE at John Lewis.
