Penn State's Saquon Barkley carries the ball against Michigan in the second half of an NCAA Division I college football game Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Beaver Stadium. The No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions defeated Michigan 42-13, improving their season record to 7-0.

Saquon Barkley earned yet another Big Ten weekly honor after dominating Michigan and solidifying his grip on the Heisman Trophy.

This time, though, he had plenty of company in the awards.

Barkley was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after blitzing Michigan with 176 all-purpose yards (108 rushing yards, 53 receiving, 15 return).

He also was named the league's special teams player of the week following the Indiana game, where he returned his first kickoff for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, senior linebacker Jason Cabinda was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for his 13-tackle effort against Michigan. He also combined on two sacks and forced a fumble.

Then, junior quarterback Trace McSorley was chosen as the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week. He threw for 282 yards and a touchdown and also ran for 76 yards and three more scores against the Wolverines. He completed 17-of-26 passes after a rough start.

McSorley is the ninth Penn State player to earn Walter Camp honors since 2004, but the first offensive pick.

Barkley also maintains his lead as the nation's No. 1 all-purpose man, averaging 211.14 yards per game. Stanford's Bryce Love is second at 200.86.

Barkley scored three times against Michigan to become Penn State's career touchdowns-from-scrimmage leader with 42, surpassing Lydell Mitchell's mark. Barkley has scored a touchdown in 14 straight games, the longest active streak in the FBS.

He is now the first Penn State player — and fourth in Big Ten history — with 3,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in his career. He joins Indiana’s Levron Williams (1998-2001), Northwestern’s Tyrell Sutton (2005-08) and Purdue’s Mike Alstott (1992-95).

Penn State now prepares for Saturday's long-awaited matchup with No. 6 Ohio State in Columbus. FOX will televise the game at 3:30 p.m.
